SSI Application Process Cycle

Generally, the SSI Application Process goes as follows:

1. SSI Applied for
2. SSI Submitted to State
3. SSI Application Reconsidered (appeal)
4. SSI Application under Admin Judge for hearing (appeal)
5. SSI Approved
6. Money Received from State

In VisualGA, you can track these fields by clicking the SSI Details button (located next to the SSI Pending Date field).  Additionally, the SSI Column (if displayed) on the main GA screen will show colored diamonds depending on the current date of each SSI Process.  The logic to display these diamonds are as follows: (items up top take precedence)

• If Money has been Received from the State ("Money Received"), nothing is displayed SSI column unless you are tracking SSI Payments, at which if the SSI Billed Date is more than 14 days ago and money has not been received, a red diamond is displayed in the SSI column
• If Money has not been Received from the State and "SSI Approved" has a value more than 14 days ago, a green diamond is displayed in the SSI column
• If "SSI Approved" does not have a value (i.e., it is blank) and "Admin Law Judge Hearing Date" (ALJHD) has a value that is between 6-7 months (of todays date), 12-13 months, 18-19 months, or more than 24 months, a blue diamond is displayed in the SSI column
• If "Admin Law Judge Hearing Date" does not have a value and "SSI Reconsideration Date" has a value more than 120 days ago, a blue diamond is displayed in the SSI column
• If "SSI Reconsideration Date" does not have a value and "2199 Submitted to State Date" is more than 11 months ago, a red diamond is displayed in the SSI column
• If "2199 Submitted to State Date" does not have a value and "SSI Application Date" is more than 120 days ago, a blue diamond is displayed in the SSI column.
• If none of the above conditions are met and if any of the following fields have any value at all, a checkmark is displayed in the SSI column.  The fields taken into consideration are: "SSI Application Date", "2199 Submitted to State Date", "Reconsideration Date", "Admin Law Judge Hearing Date", and "SSI Approved Date".
